Drum roll please...I'm a boy! Nana and Aunt KK thought that Booty sounded a bit girly, so Mommy decided that until I'm born, I shall be known as Bootiford T. Kahl. Here's a side view of my face. Good news is that it looks like I may have escaped with Daddy's nose instead of Mommy's schnoz!
The ultrasound was lots of fun! Everything checked out, so I'm a healthy boy! The parents and Nana got to see the four ventricles of my heart, my brain, and my spine, and the doctor said that everything is measuring just right.
Besides waving, I also mooned the room! I was a bit shy at first - the umbilical cord was hiding my boy parts. However, when the ultrasound technician came back around a second time, I had no issues showing the Full Monty! The parents think that even if they hadn't wanted to know what I was, it would be hard not to tell after that shot! Dad was especially proud. :-)

Thanks for finally letting us in on your secret, Bootiford.
Yeah! It's certainly exciting either way, but now it should be so much easier to get everything together! Only 9 more weeks until we can find out! I feel like I could count down the seconds!
Boots!
At last we find out what kind of baby you are! A boy! How exciting. With Daddy, Keno, and Boots....now mom is the only girl in the house! I can't wait to start shopping for little sweater vests and cute baby boy things. I love you little boy!
Dear Boots,
I loved you as soon as I saw your little face! Thanks for waving to me! I just know you will bring us all so much joy!
Love,
Your Nana D
Bootiford T.
Glad to know you are following in your mom's footsteps and not shy about almost anything! :o) Can't wait to meet you and have you meet our little one, who will only be about 5 weeks younger than you! You are really lucky! You have some great parents!!
The only problem I see here is that by the time you are born, we will all be so used to calling you Booty that we will never adjust to what it says on your birth certificate!
Shouldn't your title be "Just KAHL Me Booty?" :) Seriously though, great blog!
