Anyway, when the six of us there (Uncle David & Aunt Hilary plus the grandmas) ordered a pitcher of beer, and this is what it came in. There's nothing more hilarious than mimicking serving alcoholic beverages to a minor, right?
Recently, Miles was a great help when we decided to plant some flowers. He really is leery of the grass - it's super icky and tickles his legs. In any case, we were able to assuage his aversion to the outdoors for long enough to do a little planting.
Of course, a tiny bit of that potting soil made it to his mouth. Otherwise, how would he know what people mean when they say something "tastes like dirt"?
We also enjoyed a bit of bubble blowing that day. Miles really did like the bubbles...this is more of his "ick, grass" face.
Last week, Miles helped me with even more planting. This time we got to play with a worm (amazingly less disgusting to Miles than the grass), and we saw "Johnny Tractor" (aka John Deere) plowing the fields at the dead end of our street. Maybe there's hope for our little outdoorsman after all.

Good choice with the Miller Light Miles! Hopefully when you are a 1 year old boy you will decide to not eat dirt anymore...Love you!
